The Royal Silkmoth is a most beautiful insect. It has a variety of names, such as The Regal Silkmoth, Royal Walnut Moth (on account of its larval foodplant) and Hickory Horned Devil (after its fearsome looking larva). The wing pattern and colour are quite striking.
